• At 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Mark Peter Franchuk, 19, of Milwaukie, was arrested by the Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office on the 900 block of Broadway Street in Seaside and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants. • At 2:39 a.m. Wednesday, Donald J. West, 69, of Gearhart, was arrested by Astoria police on 29th Street and Marine Drive and charged with DUII. His blood alcohol content was 0.17 percent.
Assault
• At 10:17 p.m. Tuesday, Aimee Breanna Schaeffer, 34, of Gearhart, was arrested by the Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office at Cottage Avenue and Pacific Way and charged with third-degree assault and first-degree criminal mischief.
